Terms of Service

By using lap1.ai or purchasing from LAP1, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping, Returns, Authenticity Guarantee, Break Rules, and Consignment Terms, which are part of this agreement.

1. Using the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access it improperly, or misuse our content. You must be of legal age to form a contract to purchase.

2. Listings, pricing & availability

We work to describe and price cards accurately, but errors can occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, change prices, and cancel an order arising from an obvious pricing or description mistake, even after an order is placed; if we cancel, you receive a full refund. Inventory is limited and listed on a first-come basis.

3. Orders & payment

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Placing an order is an offer to buy; our acceptance occurs when we ship. Your purchase is also subject to our Shipping and Returns policies.

4. Live breaks

Break spots are sold and paid through Whatnot and are governed by our Break Rules and Whatnot's terms. Break outcomes are determined live and spots are final once a break begins.

5. Consignment

Consignments are governed by our Consignment Terms and the written confirmation provided for your specific cards.

6. Authenticity

Graded cards carry the guarantee described in our Authenticity Guarantee. Assigned grades are the opinions of the third-party grading companies, not LAP1.

7. Intellectual property

The LAP1 name, logo, site design, and original content are our property. Formula 1, team, and driver names and marks belong to their respective owners; LAP1 is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Formula 1, the FIA, any team, or any card manufacturer.

8. Disclaimers

The site and race-intelligence features (standings, indexes, forecasts, and similar tools) are provided "as is" for information and entertainment, and are not guarantees of any outcome or investment advice. Card values can go down as well as up.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAP1's total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use means you accept the changes. Questions: info@lap1.ai.
