This policy explains how LAP1 ("we," "us") handles information when you use lap1.ai, buy cards, consign, or subscribe to our updates. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace and serve you well.

Information we collect

• Order information. When you buy, your payment is processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive order details such as the items, amount, your name, shipping address, and email — but we never see or store your full card number; that is handled directly by Stripe.
• Contact information. If you subscribe to our newsletter or email us, we keep your email address and the contents of your message.
• Consignment information. If you consign, we collect the details and photos you send and the payout details needed to pay you.
• Usage data. Like most sites, we may collect basic, non-identifying analytics (pages viewed, device/browser type) to improve the site.

How we use it

• To process and ship your orders and handle returns.
• To run consignments and pay consignors.
• To send order updates and, if you opted in, newsletters about new listings, breaks, and race-week updates.
• To improve and secure the site.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate, including our payment processor (Stripe), our database/hosting providers (such as Supabase and our web host), email/delivery providers, and shipping carriers. We may also share information with live-selling platforms (such as Whatnot) when you transact there under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies needed for the site and checkout to function, and may use limited analytics cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling some may affect checkout.

Data retention & security

We keep order and consignment records as long as needed for our business and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, email info@lap1.ai.

Children

LAP1 is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
