Grade With LAP1

Send us your F1 cards and we handle the grading — bulk access, expert pre-screening, insured every step.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Grading turns a raw card into a slabbed, authenticated, protected asset — and a graded card almost always sells for more than the same card raw. LAP1 submits cards through our own bulk grading pipeline, so you get dealer-level access, F1-specific pre-screening, and insured handling, without setting up accounts at five different graders yourself.

Two ways to grade with us — you choose:

1 · Grade & Keep

You're keeping the card; you just want it slabbed. You pre-pay the grading cost plus a flat LAP1 handling fee per card (quoted up front), we batch your card into our next submission, and we ship the slab back to you when it returns. Simple, transparent, no commitment to sell.

2 · Grade & Sell

You want to cash out. We grade the card at a discounted (or waived) fee and then list or consign it for you graded — so you capture the higher graded price and we earn on the sale. This is the best-value path if you're selling anyway: see the consignment terms for commission and payout details.

Why grade through LAP1

Choosing a grader

Different graders fit different goals. Here's the current landscape (approximate, mid-2026 — fees and turnaround change often, so we confirm the exact cost before submitting):

GraderFrom (approx)FastestSubgradesBest for
PSA~$80 (Regular)1–2 daysNoHighest F1 resale — the benchmark
BGS / Beckett~$15–25Same-dayYes (4)High-end & centering stories
CGC~$17 (Bulk)10–20 days+$10 optionCheapest bulk
SGC~$15–2510–20 daysNoFast + affordable; vintage
AGSFlat low rateDaysYes (8) + scansAI grading, fast & cheap

Our honest steer for F1 cards: if you intend to sell a grail, PSA is what F1 buyers pay up for — worth the cost and the wait. For volume and mid-value cards, SGC (fast, affordable) or CGC (cheapest bulk) make more sense. BGS shines where its four subgrades add value, and AGS is the fast, low-cost, tech-forward option. We'll recommend the right one for your specific card.

Turnaround & expectations

Grading is slower than usual right now — 2026 has seen historic backlogs across every major grader, and PSA paused its cheapest tiers mid-year. Plan for weeks to a few months depending on the grader and service level chosen. Faster tiers cost more; we'll lay out the options before you commit.

A grade is the opinion of the third-party grading company, not LAP1. We pre-screen to improve the odds, but no grade can be guaranteed — a card can come back lower than hoped. Grading fees are paid to the grader whether or not the result is what you wanted.

Email info@lap1.ai with photos and details of the card(s) you'd like graded, and whether you want to keep or sell. We'll pre-screen, recommend a grader and service level, and send you a per-card quote before anything ships. Payment (or a signed grade-and-sell agreement) is required before a card enters our batch.
