Returns & Refunds

Collectibles are sold as graded and described. Here is exactly when a return or refund applies.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Because graded trading cards are collectibles whose value depends on their exact condition and holder, our return policy is built around one promise: you receive the card you saw, in the grade and condition described.

When we accept a return

We accept a return if an item arrives materially not as described — for example, the wrong card, the wrong grade, a cracked slab not disclosed in the listing, or damage that occurred in transit. To start a return:

Approved returns are refunded to your original payment method through our payment processor once we receive the item back in its original holder and condition. If the issue was our error, we cover return shipping; otherwise the buyer pays return shipping.

What is final sale

Live breaks, group breaks, pick-your-driver spots, and any item marked clearance or final sale cannot be returned. Break outcomes are determined by the randomization method stated for that break — see the break rules.

Buyer's remorse

We are not able to accept returns simply because a card's market value changed or you changed your mind after delivery. Grading opinions are those of the third-party grader; a card's assigned grade is not something LAP1 can alter or refund against.

Damaged in transit

Insured shipments damaged in transit are covered up to the declared value. Report damage within 3 days of delivery with photos so we can file the carrier claim and arrange a refund or replacement. See shipping for details.
