Live Break Rules

Everything that governs a LAP1 break — so every spot is fair and every collector knows the deal.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

LAP1 runs live Formula 1 card breaks on Whatnot. A "break" is when we open sealed product live on stream and distribute the cards to participants based on the format of that break. These rules apply to every LAP1 break.

Buying a spot

Spots are purchased through the Whatnot show itself, under Whatnot's payment and buyer-protection terms. The break listing states the product being opened, the format, the price per spot, and the number of spots available. Once spots sell out (or the break begins), spot sales for that break are final.

Formats

Randomization

For any random format, the assignment is performed live and on camera before the product is opened, so every participant can see the process. The method (for example, a randomizer tool or live draw) is announced at the start of the break.

Unclaimed spots & teams

If a break begins with unfilled spots, the cards from those teams or drivers remain with LAP1 unless otherwise stated. We do not hold a break open indefinitely; any "fill the break" terms are announced before the rip.

What ships to you

You receive every card pulled for the team(s) or driver(s) assigned to your spot, for the product opened in that break. Cards are shipped per our shipping policy, typically within 5–7 business days of the show. Grading add-ons, if offered, extend that timeline by the grader's turnaround.

Refunds

Because the outcome of a break is determined live, break spots cannot be refunded once the break has started. Payment, disputes, and buyer protection for break spots are handled through Whatnot.

Conduct

LAP1 breaks are meant to be fun. Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward hosts or other participants will result in removal from the stream and may forfeit future participation. Whatnot's community guidelines apply at all times.
